My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. Life’s challenges can feel heavy at times and you don’t have to navigate them alone. My journey to become a therapist started after I graduated with my Master’s in Social Work from UMKC in 2003. I went on to work in a hospital setting and found that I really enjoyed supporting patients and their families in their emotional journeys through health struggles. As a result, I went on to earn my LCSW in 2007 and started in private practice in 2008. Since then,I offer a consultation call to see if we are a good fit so my work with clients has focused on depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, PCOS/infertility, self esteem issues, relationship issues, spirituality and other life stressors.
